We use to use the term hurry up and wait when I was in the Navy.   Thats where I am right now and its driving me bonkers.  As I near the closing date of my property (2 more weeks), I have just about completed everything I need to.  There is nothing more for me to do other then wait on my loan approval and close on the stinkin thing.  I will talk again with my buyers agent tomorrow to make sure everything is taken care of.  I don’t want to kick myself again.

So now I wait and twiddle my thumbs.  Part of the reason I created this blog was because I needed a way to fill the empty time.  Let me tell you, I bore way to easy at times.  Also excitement is creeping up on me.  I can hardly sit still anymore.  You know the feeling.  Like when you were a kid and it was 2 days before spring break vacation.  Your mind is filled with what fun your going to have.  Right now, all I can think of is all the different things I want to do to this place.  Ive started evaluating which ones will be the best bang for my buck and which ones I just want to do because it sounds fun.   I’m practically giddy.  Ive been a renter for over 8 years and now for the first time I can do whatever the heck I want to my very own property.  Okay, so not everything.  The city of aurora probably wouldn’t take to kindly to a big rotating turret.  Shame really,  I’d be the first on the block with one.
