Its amazing how life can get hectic. Ive been accomplishing quite a bit lately, but never as much as I want too. Seems like the to do list grows faster then the accomplished list. Ah well. I will add an 09 review and my goals for 2010 soon. I think this is very important to do every year.
I’m still getting letters in. I’ve got a way to go to catch up to Scott’s 150+ I’m at a mere 26. So be it. Its always good to shoot for the stars. I was finally able to get a list for Denver county. $5 dollars per name. Sadly, I cannot buy every name every month. Simple to much money atm. I will have to try and get as many from lookups as possible. I will add Jefferson county soon. I need to double my leads per month.
I think I got the postcard situation figured out. I should be mailing those off within a week. I’ll be printing them by hand. My cost will likely be similar to the click2mail cost. I may try them down the road, but for now this will do.
On the home front I’m very excited about an offer I put in on a house. The house has been on the market since May. Its a 4/2.5 with a non conforming bedroom in the basement. 2700 sq feet. Needs 30k worth of work. Bid price 145k, ARV of 220k. If this goes through, this will be my home for the next few years. Keepin my fingers crossed. Thats it for now, I need to get back to work on my stuff.
PS: (sorry Steph gotta steal one PS) Turning left at a yellow on a snowy day is a bad idea. My poor car will be in the shop for a bit because others can’t respect road conditions. Least no one was hurt. Time to deal with insurance agencies.
Hey Jason,
Way to keep plugging ahead. Some people recommend to place a ranking on your to-do items and concentrate on the important ones first. Then move on to the next ones. I know I waste a lot of time just trying to figure out which item I should work on next.
Also as far as getting leads, have you tried contacting other investors from your local REIA who might be doing probates and see where they get their info from? They might be able to point you in a direction or even sell you some of their leads.
Keep up the good work!
