The Challenge

Scott over at www.strugglinginvestor.com and I have set a challenge for ourselves.   We are working towards our first probate deals.  The winner gets a $100 gift card for his readers.  I love challenges like this.  The competitive side of me has me working harder then before to complete the first deal.   I have some work to do to catch up though.  He’s mailed out 75 leads to my measly 19.  Time to kick it in high gear.

I found a new source for more leads in Denver County.  The Colorado Leader.  Its a major legal notice paper in our area.  I had no idea until my research this morning uncovered the fact.  $45 per year with half a dozen leads per week.  Thats a good price for leads, plus the paper is full of foreclosure information which can come in handy down the road.  I’m also testing out having Denver County pull the leads for me this week.  I can order the info online.  $20 to try 4 names is worth it to me to try.

I haven’t received my leads from my original source yet, but I called in again today and was given a deadline of the end of this week.  This will be the 3rd delay so I am not holding my breath and will strongly consider pulling this source and doing it myself if the information does not pan out the way I like.  I’ll wait and see.

I just have to keep pluggin away.  I haven’t received any phone calls yet, but they should be rolling in soon.   I’ll keep you informed.
